Dr. Beata Filip-Majewski was born and raised in Poland, where she began her medical education. After finishing medical school at the competitive Medical University of Lodz, Dr. Majewski continued her education at Berkshire Medical Center (affiliate of the University of Massachusetts), where she completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine.

ARA Jonesboro will attempt to confirm your appointment by phone call or text message beginning the Friday prior to the week of your appointment. If we are unable to speak with you and have to leave a voice message, you will need to contact us by the day prior to the scheduled appointment.

Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates, P.C., is the largest Rheumatology practice in the Washington, D.C., area. Since 1975, the group has served this community and has been dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of persons with disorders of the joints, muscles, tendons, and other connective tissue.

What is a Rheumatologist?

Rheumatologists are physicians who, following 4 years of medical school and 3 years in an internal medicine residency, go on to complete an extra 2-3 years of fellowship training focused on the management of chronic musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions.

The Center for Rheumatology and Bone Research is a division of Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates, PC, a 25-physician rheumatology practice. The Center was developed to give our patients access to the most recent therapies for the treatment of rheumatic diseases through participation in clinical trials.
