The state of Maryland and Adventist HealthCare have partnered to offer dedicated, high-quality care to help COVID-19 patients further regain their health at the Adventist HealthCare Takoma Park Alternate Care Site, formerly Washington Adventist Hospital.
The Alternate Care Site is one of several infusion centers in Maryland that administers monoclonal antibody treatments to COVID-19 patients. The monoclonal antibody, Bamlanivimab and Regeneron, were released to the state for treatment of COVID-19 under an Emergency Use Authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The Alternate Care Site also offers inpatient care for recovering COVID-19 patients who would benefit from continued medical care and on-site access to a comprehensive physical rehabilitation team. Our team of doctors, nurses, and therapists focus on caring for each patient’s individual recovery needs and expertly assist them in getting back home.
Adventist HealthCare also offers an urgent care, inpatient rehabilitation and physician offices on its Takoma Park campus.
