Choosing the right medicine will depend on your medical history, your seizure type, age, gender and the possible side effects you may experience. Some drugs are more effective for specific types of seizures.

Where is Jessica Madow?

Jessica Madow is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She studied Biology and Spanish at Florida State University obtaining a bachelor's degree in 2011. She later studied nursing at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH, graduating in 2015 with a master's degree in nursing. She moved to Orlando to work as a registered nurse at Orlando Health on neurology floors with both adult and pediatric patients. Jessica graduated from the University of Central Florida's family nurse practitioner program in 2019 and began working as a nurse practitioner at the Orlando Epilepsy Center.

Where is Scott from?

Scott is a board certified adult-geriatric acute care nurse practitioner treating patients from the age of 13 to the end of life. Scott is originally from Alabama where he worked approximately 10 years and a large hospital system in multiple specialties. He later became a nurse practitioner specializing in neurology, training and working in Arizona for approximately the 5 years. He relocated to Florida in 2018 to be closer to friends and family and to work in the further specialized setting of epilepsy.
