Oradell Animal Hospital has two satellite locations located in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey and Fort Lee, New Jersey that are staffed by the hospital’s doctors. Both offices share on-line computerized patient records with the main hospital.
Established in 1961 by Drs. Gary Johnson and Anthony Palminteri, Oradell Animal Hospital has grown into one of the largest technologically advanced, state-of-the-art veterinary facilities in the world.
If your pet is hospitalized and you need to visit with your pet, please contact the case doctor to obtain permission and instructions for a visit. You can take comfort and peace of mind in knowing that your pet is in the best hands possible.
Admissions are made between 7:00 AM & 8:00 AM unless directed by your veterinarian. Your cooperation is essential during the admission, in providing pertinent information about your pet’s health and answering any questions the health care team may have about your pet’s current illness.
Therefore, Oradell Animal Hospital will only treat your pet for the condition for which it was referred. We ask that you return your pet to your primary care veterinarian for all necessary routine care such as vaccines, heartworm tests, physical examinations, parasite control and other illnesses.
It is imperative that you leave a phone number where you may immediately be contacted. If this is impossible, please call the hospital between 10 AM and 5:30 PM for a report on your pet’s progress. If your pet has been admitted for a same day surgery or medical procedure, please call after 3 PM.
You will be asked to sign an authorization and/or estimate form, allowing the hospital to proceed with the prescribed diagnostic/surgical/medical services, and in some cases, a prepayment deposit for the estimated fees will be requested.
The Animal Medical Center is honored to announce a $25 million gift from Stephen and Christine Schwarzman. It’s the largest ever gift to an animal hospital and propels the “Gift of Love” Capital Campaign towards its $100 million goal.
