What is the Amherst Pediatric Associates Patient Portal? The Patient Portal provides you with secure, online access to portions of your child's medical records, as well as an easy and convenient way to communicate with our practice through a secure internet connection.
Think of it as an online account for your pediatrician's office, similar to online banking or credit card accounts you may currently have. Once you are logged into your portal account, the information you view pulls from your child's personal medical record (each child will have his/her own).
We see patients within just a few days for non-emergency cases and within 24 hours for urgent cases.
UF Health's multidisciplinary approach brings together UF physicians and other health care professionals from a variety of clinical specialties to provide comprehensive, patient-centered, compassionate and innovative health care. This mission allows UF Health to offer quality care for all medical needs, from the simple to the complex.
UF Health is Baby-Friendly. UF Health Shands Hospital is one of just seven hospitals in the state of Florida to receive the Baby-Friendly designation, an international initiative that aims to improve breastfeeding support for new mothers sponsored by UNICEF.
Located in Williamsville, a suburb of Buffalo, New York, the physicians at Williamsville Pediatrics serve the Western New York pediatric needs of the communities of Williamsville, Clarence, East Amherst, Amherst, Depew, Lancaster, Lackawanna and beyond.
Our office is open daily Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you need medical help when our office is not open, you can call and speak with our answering service who can reach the on-call doctor if you wish to be called back. Late night calls are frequently triaged by a medical answering service. These services are staffed by nurses who employ a variety of previously agreed upon protocols but who are able to reach our physicians when necessary.
It is our policy to follow closely the recommendations of the various sub-specialty committees of the American Academy of Pediatrics (i.e. the committee on infant nutrition, the committee on infectious diseases and immunizations, the committee on safety and accident prevention, etc.). Such groups are made up of top authorities who, as a result of new understanding, suggest changes in practice details from time to time.
At Amherst Pediatrics we consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children. Most of us are parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We are honored that you have chosen us as your child's primary medical provider and are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of care and service that we can provide you and your family.
