The Hurtt Family Health Clinic has established quality assurance measures and systems to improve the quality of care, reduce medication errors and adverse drug interactions, and improve patient services. To this end, we have established policies which emphasize the importance of delivering, monitoring, and evaluating the quality of care and services provided to our patients. Our Quality Assurance/ Quality Improvement Committee is charged with the responsibility to promote a safe and caring environment of quality services, including compliance, privacy, and performance improvement. Additionally, our policies promote individual and collective staff development, continually improved performance in the quality of care provided at all levels, and reduce risks to patients, visitors and staff.For quality-of-care issues, a patient may file a written complaint with the Quality Assurance Committee.
