General Surgery is led by a team of six acclaimed General Surgeons, each performing surgery and consulting at Mercy Health and Muskegon Surgery Center.

Mako Robotic Surgery

Muskegon Surgery Center is the only surgery center in Michigan to offer three different procedures – total hip, partial knee and total knee – using the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System. Seven of our surgeons are trained and certified to perform surgery using Stryker’s Mako System.

MSC Facility Expansion

Our new 24,000+ square foot addition increases the size of the surgery center by more than 50%, and includes 28 new post-op patient recovery bays, a new orthopaedic urgent care center, new exam rooms, and offices for foot/ankle and trauma treatment.

What is Muskegon Surgical Associates?

Muskegon Surgical Associates is one of only two practices in the state of Michigan that offers targeted muscle reinnervation, reducing phantom limb pain and improving quality of life for amputees.

What is MSA hand center?

The MSA Hand Center is staffed by experienced, specialized professionals, including a board-certified hand surgeon and certified hand therapist, that provide a more personal level of care than you typically see in larger healthcare networks .

Our Patient Portal allows you secure, real-time access to your Patient Care Summaries, medication list and recent labs. Through Portal Messaging, you can message your surgeon to request prescription refills, make appointments, and ask simple (non-urgent) clinical or billing questions.
