What is a proxy? A proxy is a person, other than the patient, who has been granted full access to the patient’s Banner Health patient account. This includes parents, Agents as authorized under state law, Guardians and Surrogates for children under the age of 12, and adults who lack decision making capability.
The first time you sign into Banner Self-Service, enter your birth date as your PIN (mmddyy).

Our team has the various administrative modules of Banner 9 in a test environment. We will be reaching out to coordinate system testing and training as we work to complete the overall project schedule. MSU Student Health Center has a Radiology department that performs routine x-ray and electrocardiograms. If a Student Health Center physician determines that the patient needs an x-ray or an electrocardiogram during the appointment it will be ordered by the physician and performed in the radiology department. Lisa Cory, R.T. (R) is the full time X-ray Technologist on staff that will perform the exam.#N#MSU Student Health Center also accepts outside orders for x-rays and electrocardiograms from other medical facilities. The patient must have a signed physician order to have the examination performed.#N#MSU Student Health Center physicians may determine that the patient needs radiology examinations such as CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds. These examinations are not performed at the Student Health Center but can be scheduled at other local medical facilities through the Student Health Center's medical records department.
The Student Health Center does accept insurance assignments from health insurance companies recognizing the Center as an authorized provider of health care. A Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan has been developed specifically for Mississippi State University students and is intended as a supplement to the care provided by the Student Health Center. Sponsored by the Student Association, it is a voluntary plan for students and their dependents. International students are required by the University to subscribe to this policy unless they provide proof of equal coverage.
