Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

MedStar Franklin Square’s NICU is a private room Level III facility equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and staffed by highly trained, compassionate caregivers under the leadership of Fernando V. Mena, MD, chief of Neonatology.

Discharge information

The Case Management department provides care coordination and discharge planning to help make your hospitalization and discharge a smooth process. You can reach the Case Management department by calling 443-777-7547.

Addressing safety and quality concerns

If you need assistance reaching an agreement about difficult issues that may arise about a patient’s care, call the Patient Care Advisory Committee for guidance at 443-777-7649.
