Pediatrics. A Family Practitioner can provide care immediately following birth, both in and out of the hospital. In addition to evaluation and treatment of illness, this care includes routine well care (focusing on growth and development) and immunizations.

Physicians who practice Internal Medicine are often called “internists.” LIMA’s Internists are physicians who specialize in treating adults who are 18 years of age or older. They provide care for acute problems such as colds and injuries as well as more the more complex medical problems. We also provide the routine health care examinations and provide guidance for disease prevention.

For drug levels (e.g. Digoxin, Dilantin, Tegretol, Theophylline, Quinidine, Norpace) it is recommended that these levels be drawn prior to the next dose for therapeutic monitoring.
