What is labtech infectious disease?

The Infectious Disease department at Labtech Diagnostics offers testing for a wide range of infectious agents that significantly impact patient care. Department staff provide expertise in antimicrobial resistance; rapid organism identification by mass spectrometry; molecular methods for identification, quantification, and genotyping; and classic culture and stain techniques. The Serology department at Labtech Diagnostics analyzes blood serum to identify infections such as HIV, hepatitis and measles. A serology blood test is performed to detect and measure the levels of antibodies as a result of exposure to an antigen (such as bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites.

What is labtech microbiology?

The Microbiology Department at Labtech Diagnostics utilizes a mixture of molecular diagnostic and advanced microbiology techniques, including real-time PCR, to ensure the fastest and most accurate diagnosis available.
