How long does it take to get medical records?

Patients can request their medical records be provided to them in the following formats: Processing times may vary depending on the complexity of your request, however in most cases authorizations are completed within two to three business days from the date of receipt .

Can a patient inspect a medical record?

A patient, or his/her legal representative, may inspect and/or obtain a copy of their medical records, or have copies of medical records sent to another facility. Kaweah Health requires a completed and signed authorization and valid identification before releasing any documents to anyone, including the patient.

Can medical records be released without identification?
