Talk with your physician or nurse to request a visit from a social worker. You may also call discharge planning at 541-7180 to request social services assistance.
Pastoral care and counseling for patients and families is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To request pastoral care, dial “0” and ask for the chaplain on call, or dial the chaplain’s office directly at (870) 541-7167. You may also call the JRMC operator at 870-541-7911 and he or she will page the chaplain for you. Devotional literature is available on request. A prayer room is located on 2 Center North.
Patient rooms may be dialed directly by calling 541 followed by the room number. The hospital operator will direct calls to the patient’s room from 6:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. After 9:00 p.m. patients will not be able to receive calls. These calling instructions do not apply to phone numbers in the Clinical Decision Unit.
Wi-Fi is available to patients and visitors through the “JRMC-GUEST” network. There is no password but terms and conditions must be accepted before access is granted.
Outpatient Visit. As you prepare for your outpatient visit, planning ahead can not only streamline the admissions process but also contribute to your safety and comfort. First and foremost, you will need a photo ID and your insurance cards at registration. Even if you are scheduled for surgery you will need these two items.
Valuables. It is recommended that patients not bring valuables such as jewelry and money to the hospital. If patients have valuables, we recommend sending them home with a friend or relative. The hospital cannot be responsible for any personal property kept in a patient’s room.

Beginning January 1, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all hospitals to make available a list of their standard charges via the internet in a machine readable format and requires that hospitals publish 300 shoppable services.
