As the largest AIDS organization in the world, AHF makes it our mission to give back. Through grants, emergency funds, and strategic partnerships, we're able to provide millions of dollars worth of life-saving services, programs, and more.
AHF offers free rapid HIV testing and condoms at events and provides cutting edge medical care to those who are incapable of getting treatment for themselves. AHF Fitness. With social distancing orders and gyms closed across the country, don't work out, work-in!
AHF funds its mission to rid the world of AIDS through a network of pharmacies, thrift stores, healthcare contracts, and other strategic partnerships. Generating new, innovative ways of treatment, prevention and advocacy have been the hallmark of our success. We are currently leading a mass testing initiative to identify and treat the 25 million people who are unaware they are infected.
began with a small group of dedicated activists in Los Angeles in the 1980s who had a simple humanitarian goal: give the people dying of AIDS a safe, dignified, and compassionate place to spend their final days.
AHF Events are geared towards educating the community on the importance of safe sex, taking the proper precautions to avoid STDs, and if already infected, how to live a normal day to day life with their disease. These events reduce stigma by creating spaces that celebrate the diversity and vibrancy of our community.
When you’re in care at AHF, you are the definition of “resilience.”. It takes strength and determination to live a full life while staying in care. We see you and thank you for showing up for yourself every day. At AHF, you’re a part of a community that cares.
