Visiting Hours. Hospital visiting hours are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily. The special care units, such as ICU, Critical Care Intermediate Unit and the Burn Unit, have special visiting hours. Please talk to your nurse.

How many beds does Straub have?

Straub Medical Center is a 159-bed facility. The inpatient rooms are located on floors three to six and are all private rooms. Straub also has two ICU units on the second floor.

Where is the ATM in the hospital?

An ATM is located next to the security desk on the first floor of the hospital facing South Hotel Street. For a quick bite, Vending Machines are available on the first floor of the hospital, adjacent to the cafeteria. The vending machines offer a variety of snacks, ice cream, novelties an beverages.

Where is the gift shop at the hospital?

The Gift Shop is located in the courtyard on the King Street side of the hospital. Fresh flowers, magazines, greeting cards, toiletries, novelty items and postage stamps may be purchased there. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The shop is closed on Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
