Franklin E. Mirrer, M.D. is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in shoulder and knee arthroscopy and general orthopedics. Our office does not utilize mid-level practitioners. Dr. Mirrer will personally see you on each and every one of your visits.

Arthroscopic Surgery

Arthroscopic reconstruction is a less invasive way to approach reconstruction and repair of shoulder and knee injuries. Patients have less pain and scarring from surgery and have shorter recovery times.

Sports Medicine

Dr. Mirrer understands that the goal of each athlete he treats is to get back to their sport at 100% as soon as possible. He has operated on many athletes who have gone on to significant achievements.

Franklin E. Mirrer, M.D. is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon, fellowship trained in sports medicine and is the team orthopedic surgeon for the Providence College Men’s Basketball Team. He is the team physician for the Community College of Rhode Island. His surgical specialties include shoulder and knee arthroscopy.
