Depending on the information stored for the recipient in their contact details, the recipient will receive an invitation to access the interactive chart via fax or email.

NOTE: To print anything in Passport, always choose “Download All” (located in the top right hand corner of the original message). Both the message and attachment will download. You can choose to print both, or just the attachment.
The passport tells the doctors and nurses that they should make a copy and put the copy in your hospital notes. If you are going to be an in-patient, and stay in the hospital overnight, your hospital passport should hang on the end of your bed so that anyone treating you can take a look at it.
In the letter or referral form, there is a row called "Unread Alert." Use the selection box to choose how long you will give your recipient to open your letter or referral before you wish to be notified (see screenshot below). You can choose a number of days (1 day, 2 days, 3 days, etc.) or a specific date.
And the printout will show your electronic signature once uploaded in Elation.
