At Easterseals, our main goal is to ensure that all people, no matter what background or ability, are 100% included and 100% empowered. Unfortunately, we still live in a society with systemic inequities that create significant barriers for minorities, especially minorities with disabilities.
Our mission is to ensure that children with disabilities and their families are empowered. We believe every child deserves to thrive in an inclusive community.
It has been a challenging start of the year due to COVID-19 surges. It leaves many families juggling a return to remote work, classroom closures and quarantines. For families of children with developmental delays and disabilities, these disruptions are more difficult to manage.
Tele-therapy provides access to our therapy team in a safe and convenient method. We understand the immense stress of balancing your child’s needs with the demands of work and school while also keeping your family healthy. Tele-therapy allows flexibility to meet during busy schedules and is an excellent option for families in more remote areas.
