Drew Memorial hosts specialty clinics so patients may obtain care that would not otherwise be available close to home. These physicians conduct their clinics in Monticello on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, as their schedules permit. Two clinics may operate simultaneously in the Specialty Center.

What is reflections in psychiatry?

Reflections provides comprehensive, individualized care for our patients to meet their psychological and physical needs. At Reflections, we understand that environment plays a significant role in our patients’ progress. With this in mind, our inpatient unit is specifically designed to provide a safe, comfortable atmosphere for effective treatment of older adults. Each patient receives an individualized plan of care that includes groups and activities designed to foster increased self-awareness, socialization, stress management, nutrition and exercise. The individualized plan of care is developed with the full participation of the multidisciplinary team.

How old do you have to be to refer a patient to a nursing home?

We accept patients age 65 and older. Referrals may be made by anyone close to the person, including a family member, primary care physician, nursing home staff, assisted living staff, caregiver, pastor, friend or neighbor. Once a person is referred, a professional assessment of need will be arranged.
