About Dr. McBride

For over 35 years, Dr. Deborah McBride has been providing vision care to Silicon Valley. Dr. McBride graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 1978. Following this early training, she completed a residency program at the University of Utah and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Awards & Recognition

Early in her career, Dr. McBride received the Santa Clara County Young OD Award and the California Young Optometrist of the Year Award for her outstanding dedication to the profession and the community.

Activities & Involvement

When not practicing optometry, Dr. McBride has been active in the community and has enjoyed volunteering for various school committees and activities. She served as president of Soroptimist International of Santa Clara and more recently as president of the Catala Club of Santa Clara University.
