How do I sign up for a Weill Cornell Connect account?

If you do not have a Weill Cornell Connect account, you can sign up online . If you have medical records at NewYork-Presbyterian or Columbia University Irving Medical Center, you can also access them through Weill Cornell Connect.

What is mycornellhealth and how do I login?

myCornellHealth is a web portal designed to facilitate confidential communication between Cornell Health and our patients and clients. (NOTE: myCornellHealth is not used by Cornell Health’s Occupational Medicine department.) Your will be asked to enter your Cornell NetID and password, and your birthday.

What is the connect portal?

Connect is the patient portal, offering you personalized and secure online access to view portions of your medical records to manage your healthcare. Connect is a single portal for Columbia University Irving Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian, and Weill Cornell Medicine.

How do I make an appointment at Weill Cornell?

Where does Connect Health come from?

The health information in your Connect account comes directly from your doctor's electronic medical record. For outpatient records, you can ask your doctor to correct any inaccurate information at your next visit, or send a message through Connect to your provider’s office to request corrections to your health record.

How long is a self sign up good for?

If you get an activation message via text message or email, you have 24 hours to respond to it. If you get a letter with a code on it, it is good for 30 days. Also, you can complete the Self Sign Up process without an activation code, and the system will ask you questions to verify your identity.

Can I send a secure message to my doctor?

Yes. You can send secure messages to your doctor’s office regarding non-urgent medical concerns. Click on the ‘Messaging’ tab and select the appropriate option for the communication you would like to send. You can expect a response within two business days.

Can I request a proxy for my health?

Yes. If you need to manage the health information of someone other than yourself, you can request proxy access. Fill out a minor proxy access form or an adult proxy access form. Completed forms can be faxed to 203-688-8155 or emailed to mychart.eHIM@ynhh.org. Most requests are handled within 10 business days.
