What was the first hospital in the United States named after a nurse?

Ours is the first hospital in the United States to be named after a nurse. Born in 1876, Clara Maass dedicated the most of her life to helping others. Her determination to save lives led her to participate in a bold yellow fever experiment in which she willingly subjecting herself to bites from infected mosquitoes. The experiment led to her death, but the study was instrumental in the eventual creation of a yellow fever vaccine.

Grandparents and siblings of the baby – 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. All other visitors – 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What happens if a visitor refuses to wear a mask?

If a visitor refuses to wear a mask or other PPE as indicated, that individual will be asked to leave the facility. * Face masks with valves will not be permitted as the valves allow unfiltered air to be released. This does not protect others from bacteria spread, per the CDC.

How long do you have to leave the room after an aerosol procedure?

If an aerosol-generating procedure needs to be performed on a patient, the visitor must leave the room during the procedure and for one hour after the procedure is complete. All visitors must comply with all reasonable requirements imposed by the hospital or facility to minimize the potential spread of infection.

Do you have to wear a mask at a hospital?
