Holiday Hours

Our office will be closed on Saturday, December 25 in observance of Christmas Day. If your child needs care when our office is closed, you can visit an Urgent Care location or our Emergency Department, which is open 24/7/365. You can also call the office and follow the prompts to speak with an after hours nurse.

COVID-19 Vaccines

We recommend all eligible children 5+ receive their full COVID-19 vaccination series, including boosters for ages 12+. Call the office to schedule.

Late policy

To service all of the scheduling needs for our patients, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may ask you to reschedule.

Office services

We offer vision and hearing screening, an on-site lab for screening hemoglobin (blood count), rapid strep throat testing, urinalysis, tympanometry (to test for fluid in the ear), a comprehensive asthma program, parent education materials, and many other services.

Cancelling appointments

Please call 215-836-1700 to cancel an appointment. Failure to cancel an appointment in advance will be considered a no show. Well/Physical appointments are scheduled four months in advance.

Acne Express: On-demand Dermatology Care

Acne Express is a virtual consult service that uses secure photograph submissions to assess your child’s acne. This service is available to patients 8 to 17 years old in New Jersey and Pennsylvania who have a MyCHOP account.

COVID-19 Tests

CHOP performs COVID-19 testing using PCR testing and obtains the specimen using the less invasive anterior nares testing swabs. Results of PCR tests are generally available within 24 to 48 hours. You do not need to be a current CHOP patient to schedule an appointment at a CHOP testing site. Please note testing is available by appointment only.
