Depending on your organization’s settings, you might be able to choose and answer a few security questions as one of your security info methods. Your administrator sets up the number of security questions you're required to choose and answer.

Delete security questions from your security info methods

If you no longer want to use your security questions as a security info method, you can remove them from the Security info page.

Patients who wish to participate can be issued a MyHealthRecord invitation in two ways, 1) while registering for a scheduled visit for hospital services or 2) Stop in the hospital Patient Registration office at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center with a photo ID and ask to be signed up.

How do I claim my invitation?

An invitation will be sent to the email address you gave during sign up. Once you have received the email, follow the directions on the screen. The step-by-step process will allow you to verify your identity by answering a challenge question and entering your date of birth.

Your test results will be viewable in the patient portal immediate after the results are put into your health record. Next, they select "Grant Proxy Access" and fill in the User ID for the person they want to grant access to.
