The choice of doctors on the MyChart pull-down lists is determined by past or future appointments. Any Novant Medical Group physician who is using MyChart and allows scheduling access will appear on your list if you have had an appointment in the last two years or if you have a future appointment scheduled with that physician.

How do I enroll in the patient portal?

To enroll in the patient portal, you must receive services at one of our locations. To create an account, you may self-enroll here. Alternatively, you may contact the location where you received care and tell them you would like to make an account. Registration requires an email and a valid ID.

What information can I find in the hospital patient portal?

At the hospital patient portal, you can access read-only medical information through our secure server. This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. All information is pulled directly from your electronic health records.

What to bring

Please bring a form of ID and your insurance information to your appointment. You may be asked to reschedule your appointment if you don’t have an updated insurance card.

We request that all patients arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to ensure paperwork is complete.

To access eCheck-in from the MyChart website, click the Visits tab and then select Appointments and Visits. Once on the Appointments and Visits page, click eCheck-in. From the MyChart app homepage, click the Scheduled In-Person or Video Visit Appointments icon. Then click eCheck-in for the appointment you wish to check in for.
