What is MyChart proxy?

MyChart makes it easy to manage your family’s care in one place. Access can be granted for parents who want to view their children’s records or for adult patients wishing to grant access to other adults. As a proxy, you can take advantage of MyChart features as if you were that person.

How much does an e-visit cost?

Each E-Visit costs $30. The $30 fee does not include the cost of prescription medications, lab tests or X-rays, if any are needed. You can pay for the E-Visit using a credit card or your Health Savings Account (HSA) card. However, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards cannot be used.

How old do you have to be to get a MyChart account?

You must be at least 18 years old to sign up for a MyChart account. Patients aged 17 and younger must be attached to a parent or guardian's MyChart account. Parents or legal guardians may request access to their child’s medical record by completing a proxy access form at their provider’s office.

Your video session requires: Audio bitrate = 20 kbps and Video bitrate = 355 kbps. You can also run a technology test when you log in for your session. Check in at least 15 minutes early and select click here for a pre-session tech check.

Can I get a virtual appointment with MyChart?

Now you can receive care without coming to the hospital or clinic in person. With MyChart’s video visit features, you can have a virtual appointment through face-to-face video chats with your physician or care team. Your provider can assess symptoms, make diagnoses, recommend treatments, adjust medications and send prescriptions to your pharmacy.

Hospitalists

Another part of our patient-centered care is our hospitalists. These are dedicated physicians who work exclusively with patients in our hospitals. Our hospitalists are board-certified internists – having completed the same training as primary care physicians – who strictly focus on specialized and coordinated care for hospital patients.

Transfers to other facilities

Sometimes patients need to be transferred to another hospital to receive a higher level of care or specialty services. If the doctors decide a patient transfer is in the patient’s best interest, we will work with you to facilitate as smooth a transfer as possible.
