What do you need to know before surgery at Sacred Heart?

Prior to surgery, you will need to have a Pre-op Appointment. You will be given either a telephone appointment or an appointment to come to our office depending on the type of procedure and/or your medical health history.At the pre-op appointment, a nurse will obtain your medical history, review your procedure and answer any questions you have, and give you pre-surgical instructions. Your surgery arrival time and location will be given to you by the admissions nurse at your pre-op appointment.

What to bring to pre-op appointment?

If you are scheduled to come to the pre-admissions office for your pre-op appointment, please bring any paperwork your physician may have given you including a History and Physical, orders, instructions and any other related documentation or notes. Pre-op visits are scheduled by appointment only.
