Where is Lauren from AOG?

Lauren is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who returned to the AOG family in February 2021 having been an intern here back in 2018. A proud “military brat”, Lauren has lived in Idaho, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and now Tennessee. Lauren received a Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree from the Florida State University, and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University where she was a Dean’s Honor Scholarship recipient. She is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and is an active member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.#N#Lauren’s favorite part about being a midwife is walking with women and their families through their pregnancy journey serving as a guide and their biggest supporter. She believes that women can achieve anything when they feel valued and heard.

How many children does Nichole have?

Midwifery has always held a special place with each delivery of her six children, bringing an understanding of the uniqueness and importance of each birth. When not working with families Nichole loves spending time at the beach, hiking in the mountains, running and traveling to new places with her family.

Where did Nichole go to college?

Nichole received her bachelors of science in nursing from Keuka College in Upstate NY where she was born and raised. After working eight years as a Labor and Delivery nurse in her community she graduated with her masters of science in Midwifery from Philadelphia University. Spending two years as a midwife serving families in NY furthered her drive for service. Nichole joined the US Army and relocated and fell in love with Georgia.#N#In 2018, following her commitment to the Army, she joined the AOG family in Dalton, Ga. Nichole is excited to be part of an established group serving the community and committed to the care of women and families. Supporting, empowering women and witnessing the transition to motherhood is an honor.#N#Midwifery has always held a special place with each delivery of her six children, bringing an understanding of the uniqueness and importance of each birth.#N#When not working with families Nichole loves spending time at the beach, hiking in the mountains, running and traveling to new places with her family.
