Is Ahwatukee Sports and Spine merged?

Ahwatukee Sports and Spine is merging with Barrow Brain and Spine#N#1/10/2018 5:00:00 PM#N#As of February 1st, 2018, our office will proudly become a part of Barrow Brain and Spine. Though our name will change, our providers will continue to provide the same, quality care that we always have. This merger allows us to team up with some of the top neurosurgeons in the world to provide the best comprehensive spine care available. We are doing the best we can to make this transition seamless. The vast majority of patients will see no change in coverage, or their ability to see our physicians. Patient’s with Medicare, BlueCross BlueShield, United HealthCare, and Aetna be able to seamlessly continue care here. However, there will be a few small plans that Barrow Brain and Spine is not contracted with, and we will therefore be out of network. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
