The researchers found no demographic differences among nonusers who said that a technology hurdle, lack of internet access or no online medical record was the reason why they did not make use of a patient portal.May 14, 2019
The reason why most patients do not want to use their patient portal is because they see no value in it, they are just not interested. The portals do not properly incentivize the patient either intellectually (providing enough data to prove useful) or financially.
The Portal is controlled by the source system (EMR/EHR/Hospital). On the other hand, the Personal Health Record (PHR) is more patient centric, is controlled by a patient or family member, and may or may not be connected to a doctor or hospital (i.e. it may be tethered or untethered).Sep 6, 2012
The majority of people you work with are very friendly and helpful. You get a very good training before being on your own in the unit. The nurses are always very supportive throughout the hospital. Downside is that the nursing office pushes multiple admissions every chance they get which can be overwhelming for the unit.
I love the people I work with. Despite the busy shifts, we sink & swim together. Staffing shortage needs to be addressed especially now that the demand in healthcare is high.
Great company to work for while it last. Better than most but have cons like other companies.Great benefits and perks.
In my department I work with an amazing group, it is very team orientated. We all chip in when needed, work flow is great busy all the time. The Doctors we work under are pleasant and respectful.
How would you like to go to work everyday thinking when is my department going to be outsourced? It's all about numbers and cost cutting from corporate. Which is in Roseville hundreds of miles away. There's no sense of community like before when it was San Joaquin Community Hospital.
Starbuck's in campus. That's where you'll find cool people & their cliques. It's like high school
The staff at Simi Valley Adventist is great. Everyone is helpful and the overall work culture is great. Management cares about their employees and does their best to make accommodations for their workers.
