When was Woodridge Hospital built?

I hope that you will sincerely consider allowing us to care for you if the need arises. Woodridge Hospital was built in 1985 by Watauga Mental Health Services (now known as Frontier Health) to serve this region’s psychiatric hospitalization needs. In 2006, Mountain States Health Alliance acquired Woodridge Hospital.

Can you visit Ballad Health?

New behavioral health visitation restrictions. Ballad Health does not currently allow visitors in its behavioral health centers or long-term care facilities. Exception: The child and adolescent unit at Woodridge has a process in place for parents and guardians to visit. Affected families have been contacted to discuss these changes.

Is Woodridge a Guardian of Excellence?

Woodridge has been recognized for the last three years as a Guardian of Excellence facility, performing above the state and national average for excellence in behavioral health.

What hospitals use MyChart?

As of Oct. 1, 2020, all Ballad Health hospitals, Ballad Health Medical Associates (BHMA) and Mountain States Medical Group (MSMG) clinics use MyChart with one exception: Mountain View Regional Hospital.*
