How do I get a token for capital women’s care?

Capital Women’s Care is not currently offering Patient Portal accounts for minors. Information about services provided to a minor, for which the minor has the right to consent to treatment, cannot be placed in a portal that can be accessed by a parent or guardian. Unfortunately, we cannot filter these services out.

Does Capital Women's Care give tokens?

You may come to our office, present your ID and another token will be generated for you. Contact your provider’s office to arrange for a new token number. As added security, tokens will only be given to patients face to face.

Is NextGen the same as NextMD?

Yes, Next Gen, our Patient Portal partner recently changed the name of the Patient Portal from NextMD to NextGen Patient Portal. It is the same website offering the same secure messaging functionality.

What is Google authenticator?

Google authenticator is another layer of protection for the Portal. You may bypass this or you may select to use the authenticator. The Portal will prompt you to download the Google authenticator app on to your phone and you will need to use this app each time you attempt to access your Portal.

How long does it take to get lab results from a lab?

Labs and other test results are available within seven days of your visit. If you do not see your test results within seven days , navigate to the My Chart tab, select Request Health Record and click the submit button to receive an updated medical record.

Can a minor be set up in a patient portal?
