Clinical notes are available as soon as your provider completes them. Lab results — including tests done in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings — will display as soon as they are resulted. Diagnostic test reports are available as soon as they are resulted.

Where to mail MU Children's Hospital?

Letters to patients should be addressed: Patient Name Room Number, MU Children's Hospital 404 Keene St., Columbia, MO 65201. Stamps and stationery may be purchased in the hospital gift shop. Outgoing mail may be given to a volunteer or taken to the nursing station. Upon your child's discharge from the hospital, mail will be forwarded to your home address. Visitors may use the outgoing mail drop box located in the lobby next to the Oasis restaurant. Mail is picked up Monday through Friday.

Can you access read only medical records?

At the hospital patient portal, you can access read-only medical information through our secure server. This includes educational materials, information on your current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and lab test results. All information is pulled directly from your electronic health records. Due to the sensitive nature of radiology and pathology test results, these are not available on the patient portal and must be obtained through the hospital’s Health Information Department.

Is RWJBarnabas Health a centralized portal?

RWJBarnabas Health is in the process transitioning all of our hospitals to a centralized patient portal called MyChart where all hospitals’ records will eventually be contained within one system for your convenience. Please be assured that you will always have access to your medical records.
