What is a patient portal and how do I use it?

The goal of our Patient Portals are to help you better manage your health information so you can stay informed about your health. Here you can easily and securely access up-to-date health information, medication history, upcoming appointments, test results, discharge instructions, and more, whether you’re at home, work, or out of town.

How do I set up a secure patient portal account?

Setting up a secure account starts by speaking with a member of our Patient Registration team and requesting activation of your Patient Portal. After providing an email address you will receive an email containing a link and instructions on how to complete the Patient Portal registration process, including how to set your password.

How to contact Wellness Center?

The Wellness Center welcomes your interest and contact. We also value your privacy. Please consider the following information prior to sending e-mail: 1 Email us for general information regarding services, resources or other campus information. 2 Email is not appropriate for questions regarding individual, private or personal health (we cannot guarantee that the contents of an e-mail message will remain confidential). 3 Wellness Staff access to e-mail is limited to business hours. 4 E-mail should not be used for urgent communication (your message may not be read immediately). 5 When time is of particular concern, please call us at 864-597-4370 or 864-597-4371.

Can a nurse make an appointment at the Wellness Center?

Should a student need a doctor’s appointment after being assessed in The Wellness Center, a nurse will assist the student by making the appointment with the college physicians, located 15 minutes away from campus. The office visit fee is covered by the comprehensive fee for resident students in ordinary cases of illnesses.
