What is the Wise Rehabilitation Center?

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Center at Wise Health System provides simulated real-life environments where patients perform daily activities, such as navigating the kitchen and getting into and out of a car. These activities help patients re-learn functional skills.

How many beds are there in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center?

The 15-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Center provides a full spectrum of services. Six days a week, patients are typically involved in three or more hours of combined physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy. Family members are also invited to be included in the patient education process, given the patient’s pre-arranged consent.

What is Access PT?

At ACCESS PT we will create an individualized plan just for you. Based on a thorough one-on-one evaluation of your condition we will design a comprehensive treatment plan that is attuned to you and your goals. Our highly educated staff is dedicated to providing you with the expert rehabilitation services you need and deserve. We strive to exceed your expectations and return you to optimum condition as soon as possible.

What do you bring to a hospital appointment?

When you come in for your appointment be sure to bring your photo ID, insurance card, prescription, and any other documentation your doctor or hospital may have provided. You can save time at your first visit by visiting the Patient Portal to complete the new patient paperwork before you arrive.

How often do you have to do a re-evaluation for a therapist?

Your therapist will also perform a re-evaluation about every 4 weeks or before you see your physician to keep them updated on your progress.

How long does it take to get a new patient's insurance?

It takes roughly 10-15 minutes to process a new patient’s paperwork. A patient advocate will meet with you to review your estimated health insurance benefits. This is why we ask you to come early. Please bring insurance card (s), photo ID and prescription from your referring doctor (if applicable).

What is the billing number for Murray Clinic?

Our billing office hours are 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday. The direct billing office number is 801 747-3702.
