Before your visit – new patients

Please call to schedule an appointment and provide your health insurance information for verification. After you have called, access and submit the Online Patient History Form prior to your visit to expedite your time in our office.

Directions to our office can be found on the Contact page of this website.#N#With thousands of new skin cancers diagnosed each year, Dr. George thinks it is important to do a full body scan to evaluate your entire skin health. There are countless patients who come in for acne and have a skin cancer diagnosed.

financial information

Your insurance coverage is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Financial responsibility rests with the patient for deductibles, co-insurances and non-covered services. Insurance coverage is a variable and we cannot guarantee what services will be covered by your particular plan.

pathology, labs and x-rays

Surgical specimens are sent to a lab to be analyzed. The fee for this is a separate charge from the office visit and may be billed directly by the processing lab. Results are usually available 7 to 10 days after the test has been performed. Questions regarding payments for laboratory services should be discussed with the lab.

prescription refills

Prescription refill requests will be taken only during regular office hours. Hours of operation are 8am-5pm (M-TH), 8am-12pm (F).

minors visiting the practice

In an effort to meet the rules and standards set forth by HIPAA and the NC Medical Board we require a signed consent from the parents or legal guardian of any minor (anyone < 18 yrs old) who may receive treatments for a diagnosis that is non-life threatening.

Plastic Surgery Portal

Login to your patient portal to update your information and fast track (less time in the waiting room) your appointment. It’s easy! Click on “My Health” to add or update information in your portal. This automatically fast tracks your appointment. Your portal is pre-filled with information from your last visit and is the fastest way to update.

If you are unable to access your portal

At this time, we are requesting that you update your medical information on our patient kiosk (ipad) at your appointment. Don’t be intimidated by the ipad kiosk. We have helpers available if you have questions!
