In addition, a positive response from CRISP does not assure a bidder that a contract will be entered into; CRISP may discontinue negotiations with a bidder at any time, in its sole discretion.
Prices must remain valid for at least ninety (90) days from the closing. Contract negotiations will include price re-verification if the price guarantee period has expired. CRISP reserves the right to request that a bidder only provide a portion of the proposed deliverables or exclude certain partners. If bidders are unwilling to comply with RFP requirements, terms and conditions, objections must be clearly stated in the Cover Letter to the response.
CRISP discourages responses that are merely marketing collateral, therefore brochures or other presentations – beyond those sufficient to present a complete and effective proposal – are not desired. CRISP encourages proposals which are concise and of succinct length. Proposals should sufficiently explain how your solution will achieve the goal and deliverables of the project.
CRISP reserves the right to reject any/all responses received in response to this RFP. Any information obtained will be used, along with other information that CRISP deems appropriate, in determining suitability of proposed offer. CRISP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit company that currently provides the health information exchange service and solutions to Maryland, West Virginia, and Washington D.C. CRISP enterprise receives healthcare data from thousands of healthcare providers across the region. Inside CRISP technology infrastructure, this data is spread across multiple data centers (co-lo, Azure, AWS, as well as vendor-managed clouds), systems, databases, and data formats (Flat-file, XML, JSON, relational databases, etc.).
Measure 1: More than 50 percent of all unique patients seen by eligible providers during the EHR reporting period are provided timely (available to the patient within 4 business days after the information is available to the provider) online access to their health information.
1) Clinics who can’t afford or don’t want to pay for a vendor-dependent portal can still get the functionality they need, 2) Patients who seek care from multiple providers can aggregate their health data into one portal.
In the EHR model, the portal is an extension of a vendor’s core electronic health record system. A Healthcare organization will usually launch the portal at the same time or shortly after the activation of the core EHR. Most of the data that patients see when they log into the portal is only from that organization’s system.
As with any written communication, portal messages can be misinterpreted. When patients have more access to the same lab results as providers, they can worry over ranges that may be label as ‘high’ but are not really a problem. Security risks.
Healthcare organizations who are trying to increase their portal sign-up ratio prefer the first option because it gets the sign-up process out of the way. With the second option, patients sometimes lose their sign-up instructions or forget to set up the account before the activation code expires.
Meaningful use is the Federal legislation that mandates the use of Healthcare Technology for most providers in the US. It has three stages phased in over several years. Each stage has requirements that increase from previous stages.
Vendors are well aware of this limitation and are working towards providing the ability to bring in data from other Healthcare organizations. This is referred to as interoperability. It is however a work in progress, and various vendors and Healthcare organizations are at different stages.
The TOL Patient Portal (also referred to as "TRICARE Online" or "TOL") is the current secure patient portal that gives registered users access to online health care information and services at military hospitals and clinics.
MHS GENESIS is the new secure patient portal for TRICARE. It will eventually deploy to all military medical and dental facilities worldwide and replace the TOL Patient Portal.
