Steps Go to login.wvu.edu and click on Claim Account. Enter your name, date of birth and the WVU ID provided on your acceptance letter. You will then receive the information needed to access the Portal.
From there, go to students.wvu.edu and enter the WVU Portal where you can access your Mountaineer Information Xpress (MIX) email and complete the first step required to enroll at WVU — paying your academic deposit . An individual must be 10 years of age or older to request a MyWVUChart personal account. First, you need to activate your account. You can request an activation code online or at your primary care provider’s office. You’ll select a username and password, and complete an online form.
You will generally receive an answer in one to two business days. If you’re dealing with an urgent matter, contact your provider’s office by phone or dial 911. Pay your bill: View your statements and make payments online for hospital and physician services.

August 15 — WVU begins admitting students for the following year's class. You should receive your admissions decision 2-3 weeks after we receive your application, transcript and test scores. If you are admitted, your WVU email address will be included in your admit packet.
