How do I log in to my Patient Portal?

Contact the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center Helpdesk at (706) 845-3757. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Your call will be routed to the appropriate department. There is also a Contact Us section on the homepage of MyPortal that allows you to submit questions you have regarding the portal.

Is UWG health services open for on campus visits?

UWG Health Services is OPEN for on-campus and telemedicine visits. Health Services is located behind the Honors House and near Tyus Hall. Students taking at least one class on campus are charged the student health fee as part of their tuition and fees and are eligible to receive medical services at the Health Center.

What is student health services?

Student Health Services provide a wide range of medical services to UWG students, ranging from preventative medicine to acute illnesses/injury to chronic conditions. If you have a condition that we cannot manage here, we can refer you to a specialist.

What is an advocate appointment?

Students who wish to explore options for treatment of conditions such as stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, alcohol or other drug concerns may schedule an appointment with an Advocate for assistance with assessment and/or referral sources.

What is a sexual assault nurse examiner?

An advocate together with a sexual assault nurse examiner from Health Services are on call 24/7 to provide confidential guidance and medical services to victims of sexual assault, intimate partner or domestic violence, stalking, and other violent crimes.

Do students pay for health services at the Health Center?

Students taking at least one class on campus are charged the student health fee as part of their tuition and fees and are eligible to receive medical services at the Health Center. Exclusively online students may choose to pay the student health fee and be eligible for services .
