The Foot & Ankle Surgical Center, a fully licensed and Medicare Approved Ambulatory Surgery Center, was opened in 1994. Patients requiring surgical procedures are able to receive care in an ambulatory surgical setting rather than in a hospital.

Dr. Enriquez has been actively training residents in podiatric medicine and surgery since 1995. He also teaches the basics of podiatric medicine to the internal medical residents at Mercy Hospital and serves as a mentor for the American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine, promoting the field of podiatry to prospective students.
Dr. Hannah Park grew up in the Chicago area and studied biology at Wheaton College. While she enjoys all aspects of podiatry, her specialty is pediatrics. She aims to treat every patient like a member of her own family.
Dr. Mitchell Sheinkop is the former director of the joint replacement program and Professor Emeritus at Rush University Medical Center. Dr.
Dr. Siddiqui had a multi-cultural upbringing. Raised in the Middle East and attending school internationally, Dr. Siddiqui learned to appreciate, respect, and value different cultural backgrounds at an early age. This background has allowed him to connect with many patients and understand their sensitive cultural needs.
In addition to being trained in the latest surgical techniques, Dr. Weil Jr. embodies the ethics of care that makes WFAI special. He believes that every patient’s story deserves to be heard.
Ioulia (Julie) Christopoulos, PT, DPT has over ten years of clinical experience and has been with the Weil Foot & Ankle Institute since 2015. Julie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2008 and has since worked in an orthopedic setting with Athletico.
Dr. Tyler Sorensen joins Weil Foot & Ankle as a 2021 – 2022 Fellow. He is a life-long Midwesterner and is a graduate of Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
