When did Ashley join Weightwise?

Ashley joined the WeightWise team in October of 2014 at the front desk. She transitioned to the Patient Advocate position in April of 2015. Who is Kallie from Mercy?

Kallie is the newest addition to the Patient Advocate staff. She previously worked as a medical assistant in the Mercy health system. She has been a WeightWise patient since 2014 and had the roux-en-y procedure performed by Dr. Broussard in 2016. Undergoing weight loss surgery is something that will change your life. While there are many advantages to having a bariatric procedure, there are some important risks and complications that you should be aware of. These will be discussed during the initial consultation.

Patient Accommodations

From the moment you step into our office to the second you leave after undergoing surgery, we want you to feel like you are well cared for. Your comfort is important to us. That’s why we have partnered with Springhill Suites in Oklahoma City to provide you the most comfortable space possible to relax and recover from your procedure.

How to get rid of hunger and bloating?

1. Stay away from carbohydrates (CHO’s) – poisons the fat burning mechanism and creates hunger. 2. Drink at least two liters (96 oz.) of no calorie, non-carbonated, non-caffeinated liquid per day. 3. At least thirty (30) minutes of exercise per day – not intense, just consistent. 4.

Does Weightwise bill insurance?

Unless noted, WeightWise will not bill insurance for any medical weight loss services. The patient will be responsible for the self-pay cost. *Panel includes: CMP, CBC, Lipid Panel, TSH, Vitamin D and A1C. This can be done either at WeightWise or at the facility of the patient’s choice.

Can Weightwise exclude a patient?

WeightWise reserves the right to exclude patients from the medical weight loss program if that patient is non-compliant with the principles of the program, cannot produce requested medical documentation, is not healthy enough to participate in the program or whose normal care would represent an undue risk of complication.

Is Weightwise a medical program?

Some overweight or obese people are not quite ready to commit to weight loss operations. WeightWise offers a medical weight loss program (also known as the metabolic program) as a solution for this group. The program consists largely of the same services provided to surgical program patients without proceeding to weight loss surgery.
