How long does it take to get a MyChart activation code?

Some patients may be able to click the "I need an activation code" button on the MyChart login page, complete a request form and you will be sent an Activation Code within 3 business days via email. Return to Top.

Does MyChart have an activation code?

No, your activation code is not your MyChart ID or password. You will use this code only once to log into MyChart for the first time. (The code will expire after you have used it or after 180 days). When you log into MyChart the first time, you will then be asked to create your own unique MyChart ID and password.

What is Vidant CareLink?

Vidant CareLink enables referring physicians and staff to easily access patient information and follow the progress of care delivered at Vidant Health facilities. This web-based portal provides access to all medical records and ancillary services for patients referred by your practice. It facilitates communication among the care team of providers and provides access to outpatient and inpatient notes, scheduled patient appointments, medications and more.

What is a patient transfer center?

When you call the Patient Transfer Center, available 24 hours a day, a registered nurse will help you refer your patient to the location that best meets his or her needs, close to home. Nurses triage your request with necessary physician consults to discuss your patient’s condition and coordinate a plan of care.
