Dr. Uma Gopakumar is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing, and Masters of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University in 2007 and 2012 respectively. Not settling for the typical level of education for practicing nurse practitioners, Uma decided to continue her education and pursue the ultimate level of education for FNP’s, a doctorate degree. She graduated from Arizona State University with a doctorate in Nursing with a specialization in family practice in 2017. Uma is a current member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, as well as Sigma Theta Tau.
