Providers will update results and answer questions during their regular daily visit. If patients have questions about information in the portal, they can ask a member of the care. If a patient receives results after the provider has already done daily rounds, they will be discussed on the next visit.
Those denied admission to the freshman class who want to reapply should complete a minimum of one year of college with an exemplary record before submitting a transfer application. Vassar may also accept transfer applications for the spring semester of the freshman year from new candidates with very strong high school records who have performed well during the first semester in college . Credit toward the Vassar degree for courses of comparable quality taken elsewhere is determined after admission by the Office of the Dean of Studies. No transfer credit will be assigned without an official transcript.
A demonstrated commitment to academic excellence is the primary consideration in admission to Vassar College, but candidates should illustrate that they will contribute to and benefit from the range of intellectual, leadership, artistic, and athletic opportunities offered by the college community. The Admission Committee is particularly interested in candidates who have made effective use of all opportunities available to them.
Admitted freshman students may, with the permission of the Office of Admission, defer matriculation for one year. The student should first confirm his or her intent to enroll at Vassar by submitting the Candidate’s Reply Form and the required enrollment deposit by May 1. A written request for deferral should also be submitted, preferably along with the enrollment deposit but by no later than June 1. If deferred status is approved, a formal letter stating the conditions under which the deferral has been granted will be sent to the student. However, students who may be offered admission to Vassar from the waiting list after May 1 are not eligible to request a deferral of admission.
To apply for credit for a course or courses you completed at another institution, you must present an official transcript sent from the registrar of the institution to the Dean of Studies, Vassar College .

Available for online completion or download through Common Application. 4 Teacher Evaluations 5 Mid-year Grade Report Vassar requests each applicant’s most recent grade report to be sent by their school counselor. For Early Decision I or II, Vassar requires a first quarter/trimester grade report, which should be sent as soon as it becomes available. For Regular Decision, a mid-year report with first semester grades is required when available, typically by February 1. Students admitted during Early Decision I or II will also be asked to provide their first semester grades as soon as they become available. 6 TOEFL/IELTS: If English is neither your first language nor the primary language of instruction in secondary schools you have attended for the last three years.
Candidates for transfer admission to the fall semester are normally notified of our decisions on their applications in early May. Candidates for admission to the spring semester are normally notified of our decisions by mid-December. Transfer candidates for both semesters are expected to respond to offers of admission within two weeks. Admission to Vassar is contingent upon the maintenance, for the balance of the term, of the standard of academic performance upon which the Admission Committee based its decision. Students admitted as transfer students are expected to enroll in the semester for which they have been offered admission. Deferrals of admission to later semesters typically are not granted, except under extraordinary circumstances.
If, after careful consideration, you have decided that Vassar is your first choice, then an Early Decision application can help you complete your college search mid-way through your senior year and ease the stress that often accompanies the college selection process. We believe that students are more likely to thrive in a college environment which they feel best meets their interests. If you must use a public computer to access the FollowMyHealth portal, make sure you erase the computer’s browsing history. Always make sure you close the portal when you are finished so others can’t see your information. Don’t tell anyone your password, and if you do think someone had discovered your password change it immediately. Use the portal to send messages because email may not be secure.
