You must be 18 years of age or older to request activation of a UVa MyChart account.
In some cases, the physician or clinic staff member may not be available immediately, so you should allow at least three (3) days for a response. Emergency matters requiring immediate response cannot be submitted electronically. Also, there may be times when UVA MyChart is not available.
We afford the same degree of confidentiality to medical information stored in UVa MyChart as is given to any medical information stored by UVa Health System.
