The urgent care patient portal allows patients to enter information about medical procedures or surgeries that have previously taken place. On the IMS’ past surgical history input screen, they can also include the dates the procedures occurred.
IMS’ EMR-integrated urgent care patient portal helps to obtain information from patients before their appointment. Patients can inform you about their chief complaint, in addition to what their expectations are for their next appointment. This data is transmitted directly to you via the EMR. From the portal, the patient can select visit chief complaint field and enter details concerning their complaint.
By logging into IMS’ online urgent care patient portal, patients are able to enter information about their past medical history and general family history even before their first appointment. Patients can always access this record to update it with more or new information as necessary.
When patients are experiencing any pain, they can take photographs and upload images into the Urgent Care Patient Portal. By documenting and share with their urgent care physician, they can easily illustrate their conditions and the physician can then document directly on the image showing the pain scale, pain radiation, and areas of pain.
With the urgent care patient portal, you are able to create custom lists of folders and subfolders to manage documents taken from charts. Documents can be faxed or emailed to patients directly from the EMR system as they are required.
To register a patient for the new portal, you will need the patient PIN number provided by the office via your Welcome Email. Parents will register themselves for the portal and then use the patient PIN provided to them to add each child to their account.
At this time, we are registering patients who are already scheduled for an appointment. Siblings may or may not receive an email at the same time. (As you can imagine - we have alot of families and children to register! We are trying to prioritize those who are scheduled first).
If you are having difficulty registering yourself or your child, please see the information below before calling the office.
