What is a social worker?

At each visit, families will have the opportunity to meet with a social worker to discuss their family’s current social, economic and environmental needs by working together to develop a personalized plan for particular challenges. The social worker also will work to identify uninsured children who are eligible for governmental insurance benefits and will assist the families with enrollment.
