Firewalls, passwords, encryption, and audit trails are used to safeguard your information. How long does it take to respond to a UVA emergency?

In some cases, the physician or clinic staff member may not be available immediately, so you should allow at least three (3) days for a response. Emergency matters requiring immediate response cannot be submitted electronically. Also, there may be times when UVA MyChart is not available.
