Who is Currently Eligible for the COVID-19 Vaccine?

Following FDA Emergency Use Authorization and approval by the CDC, all persons in the United States 12 years of age and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Persons 18 years of age and older are eligible to receive the Moderna vaccine or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Booster Shots

Following CDC recommendations, University Health is currently offering 3rd dose booster shots of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for persons who are moderately to severely immunocompromised.

Free COVID-19 Vaccinations

We offer the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines free of charge on a walk-in basis at several of our pharmacy locations.

Safety and Efficacy

The Pfizer vaccine is now fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for people 16 years and older. The vaccine continues to be available to those 12 -15 years old under emergency use authorization. Please review FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine for more information about the approval process.
