Where does Unifour Family Practice take care of newborns?

Unifour Family Practice takes care of newborns at both Frye Regional Medical Center and Catawba Valley Medical Center. We also perform neonatal circumcision when requested by the parents.

What are some chronic pediatric conditions that require more regular care?

There are some chronic pediatric conditions like allergy, asthma, acne and ADD that require more regular care. We commonly manage these problems and can schedule visits so that they do not interfere with school.

When to give fluoride to kids?

To help prevent dental decay (cavities), our providers prescribe oral fluoride supplements starting at age 6 months for children whose water supply may be deficient. Once your child has a tooth, the providers will apply a fluoride varnish to the primary teeth a few times a year.
